 EDITOR REVIEW: 7ème ARRONDISSEMENT. The brainchild of one of Europe's most well-received chefs, this hotel establishment seeks to unite casual dining and top-quality dishes. The black-and-red restaurant, mixing Spanish and Japanese atmospheres with ham hanging from the ceiling and bamboo plants all around, invites patrons to sit at a bar before an open kitchen, where they can watch culinary preparations and be served immediately at an upscale counter. Better suited to intimate dining rather than group meals, L'Atelier nevertheless guarantees sublime food. Reservations accepted only for first sitting.
